Annual Licence for Pleasure Boats & Vessels
PRIVATE BOATING
Only enclosed vessels, max dimensions 2.36m x 1.12m are permitted. Vessels exceeding this size or open vessels such as paddle-boards are NOT permitted.
We will need to check dates for availability (4 private boats max per day).
Permits should be requested at least 24 hours before it is required.
We will contact you with payment options and once received you will be issued with confirmation which will form your proof of purchase if challenged.
NB. The Local Authority may suspend or revoke this Licence whenever they shall deem such suspension or revocation or desirabe in the interests of the public.
- This LICENCE is issued for private use only. It does not include any right to moor the boat(s) authorised on the Heath Lake.
- No power unit of any kind may be used for the propulsion of the boat(s).
- The Council disclaim all liability in respect of any accident which may occur involving the boat(s) or any occupants thereof.
- This Licence does not grant any right whatsoever to take vehicles on to the Heath for any purpose. The taking of vehicles on to the Heath is expressly prohibited under the Heath byelaws.
- Vessels must not be launched from jetty at any time.
