Petersfield Dog Ambassadors
The Petersfield Dog Ambassador Scheme is a voluntary initiative supported by Petersfield Town Council. Dog Ambassadors provide a friendly and visible presence across Petersfield’s greenspaces including Petersfield Heath to promote responsible dog ownership and enhance the experience of all visitors.
The Dog Ambassador role is focused on peer-to-peer community engagement, encouraging responsible dog ownership and respectful use of Petersfield’s greenspaces.
The initiative supports wider efforts, such as the South Downs National Park Authority’s Take the Lead campaign, which promotes responsible recreation in
sensitive natural areas.
Citizen Science Wildlife Monitoring
The Petersfield Ranger will be coordinating a series of citizen science monitoring. All people of all abilities are encouraged to participate, with full training and support on offer.
