Petersfield Town Council have partnered up with Hampshire Forest Partnership to offer Petersfield Residents FREE trees

Building on the success of last year’s initiative, Petersfield Town Council is thrilled to once again partner with the Hampshire Forest Partnership in 2025—bringing another 100 free trees to residents across the town.

But this year, we’re going even further.

The initiative has been expanded to allow residents to plant their trees in both front and back gardens, giving households even more flexibility to green their spaces and contribute to the town’s environmental goals.

This project would not only supports climate action but also aims to foster community pride and improve the natural beauty of our town – one tree at a time.

Your tree will help enhance our local environment by cleaning and cooling the air, absorbing pollutants, and supporting nature recovery. By cultivating and preserving green havens within our communities, we can foster and nurture health and wellbeing and a greener planet.

Application Closing Date: 8th December 2025

Data Retention and Sharing:
I agree to allow my personal details to be retained by Petersfield Town Council and shared with the Hampshire Forest Partnership solely for the purposes of administering and monitoring the Free

Liability Waiver for Tree Survival:
I acknowledge that Petersfield Town Council and the Hampshire Forest Partnership cannot guarantee the survival of the trees provided as part of this initiative. Liability Waiver: I acknowledge that Petersfield Town Council, the Hampshire Forest Partnership, and all additional parties involved in this initiative accept no liability for any injury, illness, or death of any person, or for any damage to or destruction of property (including that of the recipient, neighbours, or third parties) or vehicles. This waiver applies to all incidents arising from or connected to the collection, transportation, distribution, planting, maintenance, aftercare, and full life cycle of the tree(s) provided through this initiative.

Authorisation for Application:
By signing this disclaimer, I give Petersfield Town Council my permission to apply to the Hampshire Forest Partnership on my behalf for the Front and Back Garden Free Tree Initiative.
