Petersfield Town Council Named National Finalist in the NALC Star Council Awards 2025/26
Petersfield Town Council is delighted to announce that it has been selected as a finalist in the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) Star Council Awards 2025/26, in the highly esteemed Climate Response of the Year category.
Being shortlisted for this award is a significant national achievement. The NALC Star Council Awards are the highest form of recognition for parish and town councils across England, shining a spotlight on outstanding innovation, leadership, and commitment to positive change within local communities. Each year, the awards honour councils and individuals who set the standard for excellence in local governance.
This year’s shortlisting follows an extensive and highly competitive judging process, during which an expert panel reviewed exceptional initiatives from councils, councillors, clerks, and county associations nationwide. Petersfield Town Council is immensely proud to be recognised alongside such inspirational peers whose work is helping shape the future of local government.

Finalists from across England will come together on 24 February 2026 at NALC’s Parliamentary Reception at the House of Lords, where this year’s achievements will be celebrated and the winners formally announced.
