The Daniel Day-Lewis Award was first introduced in 2012/13 by Cllr Mary Vincent. Being aware of the young talent in Petersfield and noting that Daniel Day-Lewis, who had lived locally, had won his third Oscar.

Local Theatre Groups & Schools are invited to nominate a young person (under 18) they believe should be recognised for their achievements in Music, Theatre & Performing Arts.

Please send your nominations to: admin@petersfield-tc.gov.uk. Deadline 31st January 2019.

The winner to be announced at the 2019 Annual Town Meeting.

Nominations should include: Name – Age – School or Representing Theatre Group – Achievements – Photo where possible. Plus any other details you feel we should take into consideration.

The Sir Daniel Day Lewis Award 2017-2018

Once again we are delighted to present the Sir Daniel Day Lewis Award to a young person under the age of 18, in recognition of their achievements through theatre or drama.

The winners were announced at the Annual Town Meeting on Wednesday 25 April 2018 7pm.
