Petersfield Town Council has invested in a new “Visit Petersfield” website that will serve both residents and visitors to the town.  All businesses, places of interest and places to stay within a given distance are being contacted to provide initial information to our marketing consultants Hometown, while the website continues to be designed and developed by Cookson Designs.  We are pleased to say that both of these chosen contractors are locally based, and therefore have a good knowledge of what Petersfield and the surrounding area has to offer the public as a destination.

From Friday 15^th October, all retail businesses, places of interest and places to stay are being contacted for information, and this will provide the “VISIT PETERSFIELD” website with a comprehensive listing of local activities, places to stay, and places to shop and eat.  By centralising information in this way, the dedicated marketing team will be able to promote Petersfield in a way that has not been possible before, with the aim of increasing the number of visitors to our prime places of interest and town centre, as well as presenting Petersfield as a destination to stay and spend time.

The website will also be a source of information to local people, combining all the information about local shops and places to eat, as well as information about organisations, events and other details of interest.
