Members have approved the redevelopment of the Council Chamber. This will see an expansion of the Council Chamber so that the growing number of members of the public, along with the 12 Councillors and Officers can attend a meeting in comfort, as well as providing a good sized room that can be utilised by the community or hired out. The expansion will also include some modernisation of formal information that is held within the Council Chamber such as the gallery of the Town Mayors. This work is scheduled to take place from 20th May 2024.
