Full Council
This Committee meets on a monthly basis and will discuss any recommendations from Finance & General Purposes, Sports, Recreation & Environment (SREC), Public Halls, Festival Hall development, Staffing and Planning. Any other business, as required, will also be discussed at these meetings. The Mayor is responsible for chairing these meetings and all Councillors are members of Full Council. The meetings take place in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall.
This Committee meets on a bi-monthly basis to discuss any finance related issues as well as budgets for the coming year.

Grants Panel
The Grants Panel meets twice a year and is responsible for making recommendations to Full Council on any community grant applications received. The following Councillors are members of the Grants Panel for the year 2025/26:
