Are you a resident of Petersfield and would you like a free tree to plant in your front or back garden

Building on the success of last year’s Free Tree Scheme, Petersfield Town Council is delighted to once again partner with the Hampshire Forest Partnership to offer free trees to residents of Petersfield.

This popular initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to increasing canopy cover across the town, enhancing biodiversity, and supporting our climate and environmental goals.

If you’re a resident of Petersfield and have space in your front or back garden, you’re invited to apply for free trees to plant at home.

Applications open

Whether you’re looking to add shade, support wildlife, or simply improve the beauty of your outdoor space, this initiative is a great way to get involved in creating a greener, healthier town.

Young trees are being provided by Hampshire Forest Partnership along with suitable stakes and ties. Trees provided will grow to small-medium sized mature trees.

If you would like a tree planted on a verge outside your house, please go to the Hampshire Highways Request – Hampshire Tree Planting.
