The Woodsiders Ceilidh and Barn Dance Band return!
After a break of two and a half years, the popular ceilidh band, the Woodsiders, are returning to Petersfield Festival Hall, providing the music for a charity Barn Dance on 31st March 2023. Matt’s Hog Roast will be serving the food, even including a vegetarian option. The Townhouse will run a cash bar in the Rose Room.
This is the first event of the three planned for the current Mayor’s Charities. Mayor Peter Clist says, ‘Times are tough for many. After missed schooling in Covid and now in a cost-of-living crisis, youngsters and their families are suffering.’
‘The two charities I am supporting this year help children and families in difficulty: the Petersfield Food Bank and the King’s Arms (the only sizeable youth project in East Hants).’
Tickets are available from the Town Hall priced £25 each. Sorry, there is no reduction for under-18’s.
Peter Clist added, ‘Previous barn dances have been well attended and really enjoyable. I hope Petersfield turns out to have a great evening while supporting two splendid local charities.’
